Welcome in Romania

Level of education : primary, secondary, high school

Number of staff working in our school: 10 teachers
Students: 826
Subjects: Drama, Design and drawing, Dance, Music, Computer science, Tourism, Mind games

The school aims to follow the new educational process in order to make the lessons more interesting for the pupils, so that they achieve best educational results and become active citizens, ready to follow modern European streams. There is a computer for every pupil in the school, so that they can use all benefits that the new ICT technology offers. We pay special attention to multilingualism, so children start learning English at the age of six as an obligatory and German and Italian as second languages.

"Many activities !"

The school was awarded a Green flag for our special contribution for a clean environment. Every month, parents take part in different activities organized by the school and contribute to improvement of the school curriculum. We integrate children with special needs to the normal classes. The school would be interested in joining this project because we would like to improve the experience we have already acquired in the mobility projects, exchange cultural backgrounds, meet new people and learn from their experience, discover new places and share our beautiful landscapes with other people. Our expectations are highly connected with our interest of learning and sharing experiences.

Camelia Bertea-school principal.
Raluca Simionescu-teacher of Computer science.
Mihai Halmagiu-teacher of Music.
Simona Rapanu-secretary of the school.
The teachers who will be engaged in this project have previous experience in international programs as they attended Comenius and Grundtvig courses. They have also experience in teaching and have first degree certificates in teaching, prove to be well organized, flexible and willing to adapt to the new methods and educational approaches.

We think that besides the coordinator and contact person, at least 16 teachers (languages, ITC, History, Geography and Mathematics) and 150 students should be appropriate to take part in the project. We personally have experience in a mobility project because we have already done one but we were not representing our institution of education. That project was implemented by an association from our town, Victoria where we are partners in. This would be our first project representing this institution and we can come up with the experience we have build: the ideas that can be developed, our creative energy and resourceful ambition.
