ÉCOLE FONDAMENTALE LIBRE SAINT JOSEPH is a medium-sized primary school located in a rural area with around 7,500 inhabitants across 29 villages. It provides education for approximately 250 pupils in primary school and 110 children in kindergarten, aged 2.5 to 12 years. The school team includes one director and 19 teachers who work full-time to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The school values cultural diversity, welcoming students from different backgrounds, including Africa, Eastern Europe, and North Africa. This diversity enriches the community and offers pupils opportunities to learn about and appreciate other cultures.

In addition to core subjects such as mathematics, French, Dutch, English, science, history, and geography, pupils participate in physical education, ICT, and creative activities. Music, rhythm, and traditional dance are important aspects of school life, with workshops, performances, and annual festivals.

Through these activities, students develop artistic, social, and cognitive skills while expressing creativity and learning to collaborate. Families and teachers appreciate the enthusiasm, curiosity, and confidence these programs inspire, providing a rich and engaging educational experience.
